Glam metal icons Motley Crue has posted their newly recorded cover of the Madonna classic, “Like A Virgin” online. You can check it out below. The song was recorded, along with three others, for the soundtrack of the forthcoming Motley Crue biopic, “The Dirt,” which will be released worldwide through Netflix.

“The Dirt” is an unflinching and uncensored story about sex, drugs, rock ‘n roll, fame, and the high price of excess. Director Jeff Tremaine (Jackass co-creator) shows us just how Nikki Sixx (Douglas Booth), Mick Mars (Iwan Rheon), Tommy Lee (Colson Baker aka Machine Gun Kelly), and Vince Neil (Daniel Webber) took Mötley Crüe from the Sunset Strip to the world stage, and what it meant to become the world’s most notorious rock band.

“The Dirt” soundtrack includes four brand new songs and is available for pre-order now through Mötley Records and Eleven Seven Music. The pre-order offers an instant download of the single, “The Dirt (Est. 1981)” (feat. Machine Gun Kelly) here and check out the official music video below, which includes behind-the-scenes footage.

US dark melodic metal act, Witherfall, recently started touring Europe as support of Sonata Arctica’s Acoustic Adventures tour. As a special release fitting this tour concept, Witherfall also recorded the widely acoustic Vintage EP, which will be released on March 22nd.

Today, they are releasing the third single from this EP, “A Tale That Wasn’t Right”, which was originally recorded by Helloween and released on the classic Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part I album in 1987. You can watch the full video, produced by Don Adams, below.

Witherfall comments: “Right after the band landed in the ill-fated Panama City FL to begin recording A Prelude To Sorrow the idea of doing an 80s power ballad was drunkenly pondered by the band. On one of Steve Bolognese’ IPA benders he came up with Helloween’s ‘A Tale That Wasn’t Right’. Though the band recorded the song during the APS sessions, the video was shot during the band’s recent tour of Japan as support for Kamelot. With Japanese tour manager Mia Steinhausen guiding our way, we were amazed and honored to be so welcomed by the fans and label(s) in Japan that we decided to create a little visual tribute as a gift to everyone who helped us out. Seen in the beginning is even a cameo by none other than Masa-Ito! Domo-Arigato.”

Only two more weeks to go until Forever Still unleash their sophomore full-length release “Breathe In Colours.” For this record, Denmark’s highflyers have adapted a dark musical concept, inspired by a dystopian cyberpunk future in which humanity flees into cyberspace, and the fact that some of the biggest works in that genre, Blade Runner and Akira, are set in 2019. With their first two singles, “Rew1nd” and “Breathe In Colours,” the do-it-yourself band have already presented the rocking side of their new release, and today, they introduce their listeners to the capturing power ballad “Is It Gone?.”

“The overarching thought behind ‘Is It Gone?’ can be summed up in the chorus line saying “it’s only gone if I let it go”, which is something I think a lot of people can relate to”, Maja explains. “We hold onto all these negative things and thoughts, some that might never even happen. I remember reading one time that 85% of things we worry about never come true. That’s a lot of trouble for no reason at all. Sometimes you just need to let it go and stop obsessing over things that are out of your control.”
