Chilean thrash metal band Nuclear has released “Apatrida” via Digmetalworld Records in the U.S. and Sick Bangers Metal Label & Distro in Chile, available on July 25th in Digital and Digipack format, and by late October in Gatefold LP. You may listen to the entire new five-song EP at Digmetalworld, or stream it below.

The new album “Apatrida” was produced by Sebastian Puente and Francisco Haussmann at Audio Custom Studios in Santiago, Chile. The art work was done by Claudio Botarro, who was in charge of translating the band’s idea of a controversial and direct message about the current Chilean political status. Members of the band commented on the new album:

“We tried to bring a powerful concept using iconic figures of Chilean political history. The same old factions fighting over who has the power and money, as true vultures. For those who have no intention of making things right, this is our message. The band has always been straightforward and up front in its albums and we didn’t make an exception this time”

“We had this idea to put out an EP which we think has more flexibility in terms of composition and sound. It is very aggressive material and lyric-wise it has a strong political content. We know for sure it will appeal to those who like our music,” stated the guitarists Sebastian and Francisco.

The “Apatrida” promotional tour has already confirmed the following dates:

July 25 @ Teatro Caupolican, Santiago CL (w/ At The Gates)
August 18 @ Club 334, Santiago CL (w/ Poema Arcanvs)
August 31 @ San Luis Potosi, Mexico (w/ Malevolent Creation y Absu)
September 01 @ Mexico DF, Mexico (Ultrametal Festival w/ Malevolent Creation, Absu, Hate Eternal)

California’s nihilistic hardcore wreckers The Love Below have just locked down a brutal trail of shows this May and June, including an A389 Records showcase in California as well as several performances at this year’s Chaos In Tejas gathering in Texas.

The mayhem begins this Saturday, May 19th, where The Love Below will take part in the first-ever West Coast A389 label showcase in Pomona, California. Not only will the band perform alongside a crushing lineup of A389 brethren including Integrity, Ringworm, Seven Sisters Of Sleep, Young And In The Way and more, but the band’s original drummer Chris Arias will rejoin the lineup for this special show for the first time in over a year.

Less than two weeks after the A389 showcase, The Love Below kicks off a twenty-five date trek across the United States including two raging shows at this year’s installment of the annual Chaos In Tejas throwdown alongside Sham 69, Saint Vitus, Absu, Ringworm, Dropdead, Nasum, Winter, The Mob, and dozens more in Austin, Texas. The following press release was also issued about The Love Below streaming an entire new album online:

“Comprised of members of Carry The Casket, The Mistake, and Mother Speed, TLB haphazardly coalesce elements of ’90s icons Fall Silent, Endeavor and Left For Dead into a sound akin to more contemporary acts like Pulling Teeth, Trash Talk and Cursed, resulting in purely unhinged mayhem. Released by A389 Records in early April, The Love Below’s debut LP Every Tongue Shall Caress belts out thirteen tracks in under twenty-four minutes. Stream the entire album via the band’s official Stereokiller profile page at this location.”

New Zealand’s Exordium Mors has issued the following announcement about finishing work on a new EP:

“We have completed the recording of our 3rd EP ‘SACRIFICE, PERISH AND DEMISE.’ This Beastly recording immortalises all that Exordium Mors stand for: barbaric, vicious vocals with pulverizing, thrashing riffs that will decimate and destroy the souls of all that listen it. This music/recording is dedicated to the True Maniacs we’ve encountered and are likely to encounter in future.

“Sacrifice Perish and Demise promo copies are now being sent out to labels/zines. If your label may be interested in releasing this contact us at exordiummors@gmail.com. If your zine would like an interview contact us as well. A sampler will be posted soon so keep a look out!

“We have also been busy playing multiple shows with our brothers of metal in NZ along with a ritual last week where we shared the stage with Occult blackmetal Legends ABSU that proved to be quite a show.

“We also have planned multiple international shows that will be announced in the next few months.

“The stage is now set. Sacrifice Perish and Demise marks the start of a line of releases with our first full length ‘The Apotheosis of Death’ that is planned to be released later this year. EXPECT TOTAL ANNIHILATION.”
