Gothenburg act Bombus not only put a lot of blood, sweat and beers in the recording of the band’s Century Media Records debut “The Poet and the Parrot,” but also in creating the artwork. This isn’t just another Photoshop crime: this is handcrafted original art done by former bass player Ulf Lundèn.

We’re premiering the brand new (and fucking weird) video from Gothenburg riffers, Bombus!

Enter the Night is, obviously since we’re using it as a video track, one of our favorites on the album,” say the band. “The song pretty much sums up what we’re about as it starts out as an aggressive rocker and ends on a more barren note. Behind the video is ex-Bombus bass player Ulf – who totally has outdone himself with this video – where he lets Bombus enter and travel through his version of the night. Enjoy and buckle up!”

Seriously, this video is like Dark Crystal-level weird.

Enter The Night is taken from the ace new album The Poet And The Parrot, out August 26. Pre-order it here: http://smarturl.it/bombuscmd.

Swedish deathcrust delinquents Bombs of Hades will unleash new full-length, “The Serpent’s Redemption” via Pulverised Records on September 17th, 2012. The follow-up to 2010’s “Chambers Of Abominations” was recorded and mixed at Welfare Sounds Studio (RAM, Bombus, etc) and offers up eight tracks of sonic wreckage as well as the unholy artwork of Polish illustrator Rafal Kruszyk (Interment, Hooded Menace, Machetazo, Cianide, Coffins etc.).

Check out the song “Burn” at the band’s official Facebook profile right here. The following press release was also issued about the band:

“Forged in 2002 by bassist Ander Ekman and vocalist/guitarist Jonas Stålhammar (ex-God Macabre, ex-Utumno, etc) as an excuse to get drunk and pay homage to the likes of Discharge, Anti Cimex, Dissober, Autopsy, Nihilist/Entombed, Carnage and Slayer, Bombs of Hades initially churned out gristly crustpunk before heading towards an oldschool Swedish death metal direction, always retaining a burly d-beat/crust vibe. The band issued their Carnivores EP through Blood Harvest Records in 2008 as a limited 7”. The EP harvested considerable underground buzz and sold out. Bombs of Hades went on to release the Chambers of Abominations full-length again through Blood Harvest as well as an assortment of split 7”s and 10”s. Now it’s time for The Serpent’s Redemption. Bring out your dead…”

The track listing is as follows:

1) Crawl Away And Bleed Forever
2) Darkness, My Soul
3) Burn
4) The Serpent’s Redemption
5) Forgotten In Graves
6) Incubus Descending
7) Skull Collector
8) Scorched Earth
Part 1: Into Chaos
Part 2: The Throne Of Flesh
Part 3: Rapture

Bombs of Hades is:
