Bret Michaels invited Scott Pasmore of “Good Morning Arizona” — which airs weekdays on KTVK 3TV — to the POISON singer’s luxurious Scottsdale home on Thursday’s edition of the program. You can now watch the segment below.

Michaels will host a fund-raising concert ob September 28 at Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino in Chandler to raise money for his charity, Life Rocks Foundation.

“It’s a fun concert,” Bret said. “It’s a celebration of life; it’s a party. A big Bret Michaels show, singing all the POISON hits and stuff and raising a lot of money.”

For Michaels, who has been struggling with diabetes his entire life, raising money to help others has become a personal mission.

“It’s about doing what you can when you can,” Bret said. “No one’s expecting anyone to give away everything they’ve got to another charity. It’s just if you’ve got something, whether it’s your time, whether it’s your heart, soul, time, money. If you can do it, do it.”

Over the last several years, Michaels and the Life Rocks Foundation have sent many diabetic kids to camps to help them learn how to manage their diabetes as well as show them that there are other kids just like them.

For the third year running Teenage Cancer Trust will be the official charity partner at Bloodstock 2013 this weekend!

Last year Bloodstock helped raise nearly £5,000 pounds for the charity, and it’s hoped that this year that barrier will be smashed.

There’s a ton of ways for punters to help raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust at this year’s festival, including a raffle to win the chance to watch Sunday night headliners Slayer close the festival from the side of the stage, getting your hands on a Yamaha BB424X bass worth £485 signed by none other than Lemmy from Motörhead and meeting Main Stage artists Fozzy and Anthrax, who’ll be hosting a meet and greet with two lucky winners.

To get involved, head over to the TCT tent at Bloodstock and help raise some wonga for some seriously worthy causes!

Bloodstock takes place this weekend (August 8-11) at Catton Hall, Derby, and features the likes of King Diamond, Lamb of God, Slayer, Anthrax, Gojira, DevilDriver and many more. Get your tickets now from bloodstock.uk.com.

Chi Cheng: 1970~2013

A raffle in memory of Deftones bassist Chi Cheng has been put together to raise money for some of the amazing organisations, treatment centres and charities that helped Chi during his recovery after that horrific 2008 car crash that, ultimately and tragically, claimed his life.

Chi sadly passed away in April after a four-and-a-half year battle, but his memory lives on, and this is a great chance to raise some money for some extremely worthy causes, with prizes including tickets to Reading and Leeds, Converse trainers, CDs, merch, posters and gear signed by the likes of Deftones, Letlive. The Ghost Inside, The Bronx, Skindred, Feed The Rhino, Gallows, Johnny Cupcakes, You Me At Six and many more.
