When METALLICA‘s new movie, “Metallica Through The Never”, opens in 3D IMAX on September 27, fans will see the band performing on a massive stage, specially constructed for the film, that incorporates elements of METALLICA live shows from the past 30 years. The Pulse Of Radio asked bassist Robert Trujillo if there is any chance of taking that stage show on the road. “Well, that’s the plan, you know,” he said. “I don’t think you build something that incredible and not, you know, share it with the world. Obviously we’re just trying to get through this phase of the journey and gonna release this beast to the world and present it on the IMAX screens, and then after that, you know, we’ll see where the adventure takes us, you know. We do have this stage, we should put it to use.”

The band has released a third chapter in its “Hit The Lights: The Making Of Metallica’s Through The Never” series of videos.

The new segment focuses on the conception and construction of the stage and live production.

The movie will expand to theaters around the country on October 4 after its limited IMAX opening on September 27.

The film, a blend of concert movie and fictional narrative, stars Dane DeHaan as a member of METALLICA‘s road crew who is sent on a mysterious mission while the band performs at a sold-out arena and events outside grow more bizarre.

This Saturday (September 21), METALLICA will play a special show at New York’s famed Apollo Theater as part of the promotion for the film.

Dutch death metal kings AntropomorphiA have just shot a video for the new song “Psuchagogia” last week in Leizpig, Germany. The clip was directed by video producer Maurice Swinkels. Comments AntropomorphiA singer/guitarist Ferry Damen:

“We talked about recording a video for ‘Psuchagögia’ a few months ago and decided to bring in Maurice Swinkels from Younique Film for the visual awakening of this track. I told Maurice some of the ideas I had regarding the ‘storyline’ and he came up with a great location in the eastern part of Germany, which turned out to be perfect for documenting this somewhat disturbingly and dark tale. We shot the video on September 8th and during the shoot we seriously got beneath the horrid surface of the tale we wanted to tell. It’s our first ever video and I can say that we are thrilled about the way it turned out!”

AntropomorphiA’s “Evangelivm Nekromantia” will be released October, 19th/22nd via Metal Blade Records in Europe, as well as the 22nd in North America on CD and LP (Europe only). The video will be launched before an album release in October. Surf over now to this location to listen to the song “Psuchagogia,” to check out the artwork, and find the pre-order links.

Comments AntropomorphiA on the album: “We’ve been working on this conception for almost a year. Dedicated to composing a new sort of disturbing death metal darkness exceeding most of the one-dimensional releases you got to hear most of these days!”

The track listing is:

1. Intro
2. Nekrophilian Mass
3. The Mourned and the Macabre
4. Debauchery in Putrefaction
5. Anointment by Sin
6. Fleisch
7. Impure Desecration
8. Psuchagogia
9. Nekrosophia
10. Evangelivm Nekromantia

Hackneyed has posted a new track online from the band’s upcoming album “Carnival Cadavre,” which is set to be released August 22nd in Europe and August 30th in North America. The new song “Maculate Conception” is available through the Lifeforce Records Facebook page here.

Hackneyed also commented on the band’s upcoming Lifeforce Records debut:

“It’s hard to believe. After two years in-between rehearsal room, shows, being on tour and pre-production we finally managed to get our third album ready to launch. It’s named ‘Carnival Cadavre’ and will be tested in human experiment at the Summer Breeze festival in Dinkelsbühl on August 19th 2011 for the first time. Once again we produced our album with Corni Bartels at the Weltraum Studios and Björn Goosses (Killustrations) again purified our disc with a stunning artwork.

“We added another fine portion of groove and brutality for you and showed once again what Hackneyed is made of. With our new label Lifeforce Records we found the matching partner and we’re really looking forward to our future cooperation. We’re curious where our journey with the ‘Carnival Cadavre’ will lead us within the next weeks and months. And perhaps soon it’s also close to you they say: The Circus’ Back in town!”
