Our Corey

We had a chat with Slipknot and Stone Sour legend Corey Taylor about, amongst other things, having more projects on his hands than pretty much everyone else we know. Unsurprisingly, he’s fucking knackered.

“What’s next for us? A little time off!” laughs the singer. “I am fucking shot, dude. After the Stone Sour European tour, I’m just gonna be a dad for as much time as I can be. There’s a few book signings, a few Slipknot shows maybe…I’m going to ComicCon, with a lot of money because I’ll be spending a lot of money.”

“The big thing will be next year when Slipknot reconvene, so I’m just getting everything I’ve been writing over the past eight months ready for assimilation into the Slipknot collective. But you know me, I’ll have a week off and start losing my mind! So I’m sure something will come up that I’ll be jumping into, and whatever that is, I’m sure it’ll come to the world’s attention.”

Stone Sour’s House Of Gold & Bones epic is out now via Roadrunner. Expect a new Slipknot album in 2014. Oh Yes…
