Fan-filmed video footage of VENOM‘s August 31 performance at the Masters@Rock festival in Torhout, Belgium can be seen below.

VENOM is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on its new album for an early 2014 release via Spinefarm Records.

Commented VENOM drummer Danny “Danté” Needham: “The new songs are sounding amazing; the whole album has a great feel.

“I’d say the strength of this band comes from our determination to create great music, and that comes from forward thinking, new ideas and fresh challenges.”

Added VENOM bassist/vocalist Conrad “Cronos” Lant: “I believe this is VENOM at its best. The songwriting keeps getting better, and the live shows are tighter and heavier than ever.

“It’s clear to me now that all of the lineup changes this band has been through over the years has been an inspiring journey to find the right band of warriors.

VENOM continue to keep growing stronger and unstoppable”.

VENOM‘s latest studio album, “Fallen Angels”, was released in November 2011 via Spinefarm Records. Featuring 13 recordings produced by Cronos, the follow-up to 2008’s “Hell” release saw the trio (completed by guitarist Stuart “Rage” Dixon) adopting a style highly redolent of classic early VENOM with modern studio technology employed only to increase the general level of nastiness.

British black metal pioners Venom has announced that their new studio album, “Fallen Angels” will be released on November 28th through Spinefarm Records/Universal. To promote the album, the band will be releasing a double A-side single on October 31st which will feature the songs, “Hammerhead” and “Hail Satanas.”

Speaking on the album, frontman Cronos stated: “When we make an album, it usually takes a few tracks to get into the vibe, although this album’s vibe was very much present during the ideas stage… everything came together so naturally. We all started throwing ideas together on the South American tour, and then again during the live shows of 2010, and so we knew from the start that we had some amazing new songs to make a great album. With any new album, you look for a few songs to put into the live set, although that is going to be very difficult with this record, as we can nail the entire album live if we want! Fallen Angels is the result of a band that has spent nearly two years touring and growing as a unit, and as the band grows tighter, so the songs get better and heavier, and we instinctively know what each other is thinking, and the ideas flow easier. This album is only the very start for this line-up; there will be many more albums and live shows to come for Venom. It has taken a long time and a lot of changes to finally deliver a Venom that can attack black metal the way it should be – fast, furious, tight and terrifying. All Hell Breaks Loose… Hell Fucking Yeah!!”

The tracklisting is as follows:

1. Hammerhead
2. Nemisis
3. Pedal To The Metal
4. Lap Of The Gods
5. Damnation Of Souls
6. Beggerman
7. Hail Satanas
8. Sin
9. Punks Not Dead
10. Death Be Thy Name
11. Lest We Forget
12. Valley Of The Kings
13. Fallen Angels
