Kulick married his girlfriend, Lisa Lane, on January 4.
Bruce, 60, proposed to Lisa on Christmas Eve in 2012 in London, England.
In 1984, Bruce joined KISS, where he remained as their lead guitarist for twelve years, accompanying the band on the “Animalize” tour and continuing with the band until the 1996 reunion tour. Bruce is heavily featured on “Kissology – Vol. 2″ and “Vol. 3″, the band’s DVDs spanning their historic 35-year career.
Kulick‘s third solo album, “BK3″, was released in Europe in January 2010 via Frontiers Records and in North America in February 2010 through Twenty 4 Records/Rocket Science Ventures. California rockers TESLA last month entered the studio to record eight or nine new songs, to be included on the band’s forthcoming album.
Says TESLA guitarist Frank Hannon: “I must say that this new TESLA album is really gonna be awesome.
“We went in more prepared with the songs and ideas way more than ‘Forevermore’, and the style is pure TESLA back to our roots.
“The band is working and producing it as we did ‘Into The Now’… with help from the legendary Tom Zutaut, who helped us make our best albums.
“The title of the new album is gonna be ‘Simplicity’ and I truly believe you guys are gonna love it!”
He added: “The opening track is called ‘MP3′ and starts off with an opus intro that orchestrates into a heavy slow groove with lyrics about technology and how we miss simplicity, vinyl albums, family values… and has a heavy-ass riff! Then we segue into a rock and roll song called ‘Ricochet’ that talks about Uncle Ted…
“Can’t wait to play this stuff live!”
A new TESLA song, “Taste My Pain”, was released last summer via iTunes and Amazon. The track was recorded during a two-day (June 5-6, 2013) session at J Street Recorders in Sacramento, with plans to include it on the upcoming CD. According to the group, “It’s a heavier song with a hard-driving beat and TESLA trademark blazing guitars.”
TESLA‘s latest album, “Twisted Wires And The Acoustic Sessions”, was released in July 2011 via Scarlet Records. The CD featured six songs that were recorded back in 2005 at bassist Brian Wheat‘s J Street Recorders studio — which also served as the last recordings with original member Tommy Skeoch — and six newly recorded tracks, including acoustic remakes of songs from TESLA‘s entire catalog and two brand new songs, “Second Street” and “Better Off Without You”.
TESLA released a live album, “Alive In Europe!”, in Europe on April 23, 2010 via Frontiers Records.
TESLA‘s latest studio album, “Forever More”, sold more than 16,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 33 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released on October 7, 2008 on Tesla Electric Company Recordings. The European version of the album, which was made available on November 7, 2008 via Frontiers Records, contains two bonus tracks not found on the American version.

Former BADLANDS bassist Greg Chaisson filled in for Ronnie Mancuso at RED DRAGON CARTEL‘s March 4 concert in Tempe, Arizona. Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be seen below.
Chaisson and RED DRAGON CARTEL leader Jake E. Lee (also formerly of OZZY OSBOURNE) were half of the short-lived BADLANDS, which also featured current KISS drummer Eric Singer and the late singer Ray Gillen (who also had a brief stint in BLACK SABBATH). After the first BADLANDS album, Singer was replaced by Jeff Martin. The group lasted from 1988 to 1993 and released two albums, “Badlands” (1989) and “Voodoo Highway” (1991) before Gillen left and was replaced by John West. Ray‘s death in 1993 effectively ended any hopes of a BADLANDS reunion. The album “Dusk”, consisting of BADLANDS demo recordings from 1992-1993, was released in 1998.
RED DRAGON CARTEL‘s self-titled debut album sold around 5,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 69 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on January 28 via Frontiers Records, the CD was recorded at Las Vegas’ The Hideout Recording Studio — owned and operated by Kevin Churko (OZZY OSBOURNE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, IN THIS MOMENT) — and was produced by R. Bernard Mann (a.k.a. Ronnie Mancuso) and Jake E. Lee, and executive-produced, mixed and mastered by Churko.
RED DRAGON CARTEL, which references the axeman’s Japanese roots, also features Darren James “D.J.” Smith of Canadian metallers WARMACHINE, on vocals, Ronnie Mancuso (BEGGARS & THIEVES) on bass and Jonas Fairley (BLACK BETTY) on drums.
JAKE E. LEE’S RED DRAGON CARTEL‘s setlist includes new material like the singles “Feeder” and “Deceived”, as well as major hits from Jake E. Lee‘s glorious past: “Bark At The Moon”, “The Ultimate Sin” and “Rock ‘N’ Roll Rebel” (all originally recorded by OZZY OSBOURNE), as well as “Shine On” and “High Wire” (BADLANDS).

RockNLive.org conducted an interview with California rockers Y&T when the band performed at Le Forum in in Vauréal, France on September 28. You can now watch the chat below.
Y&T‘s live album, “Live At The Mystic”, was released in November 2012 via Frontiers Records.
Following original bassist Phil Kennemore‘s untimely passing from lung cancer in early 2011, the band carried on the legacy that is Y&T. With Brad Lang on bass and vocals, Y&T prove their continued strength with “Live At The Mystic”, a double live CD recorded at the legendary Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, California, one of the most popular venues that Y&T play every year. The two-CD set includes 22 songs recorded over two nights in November 2011, including many tracks never before released on any other live Y&T CD. The amazing heat to the tracks showcases the power of the band as it currently sounds, playing songs from “Facemelter” as well as all the hits and fan favorites.
“Songs like ‘Dirty Girl’, with its extended solo section of John Nymann and myself tearing into a nearly three-minute back-and-forth solo was especially a great performance,” said guitarist/vocalist Dave Meniketti. “Also, many of the classic tunes like ‘Black Tiger’, ‘Don’t Wanna Lose’ and ‘Mean Streak’ were very well played and show some of the best live performances of these songs we’ve ever recorded. But I also feel strongly about our more mastered performances from our latest ‘Facemelter’ CD. The energy and much more refined versions of these songs, now that we’ve really had some time to hone in the vibe of these tunes, make it that much more special of a live recording.”

Frontiers Records will release the debut album from Swedish singer ANGELICA, “Thrive”, on November 29 in Europe and December 3 in North America.
Best known for being the singer in THE MURDER OF MY SWEET, Angelica Rylin finally decided to pursue her childhood dream and to walk in the footsteps of such amazing singers such as Ann Wilson of HEART, Leigh Matty of ROMEO’S DAUGHTER and Robin Beck and record her debut solo album in a true melodic rock style.
Some melodic rock songwriting luminaries answered the call in order to create the magic harmonies and music displayed on Angelica‘s debut album. “Harry Hess, Daniel Flores, Robert Sall, Alessandro Del Vecchio and Anders Wigelius all contributed,” says Angelica, and some excellent guitarists such as Jesper Strömblad (IN FLAMES), Magnus Karlsson (PRIMAL FEAR), Per Berquist (SMASH INTO PIECES) also appear on the album. There is also a very special performance by keyboardist Matt Guillory (JAMES LABRIE). Still, Angelica wrote or co-wrote several songs on her record, showing another side of her abilities.
“I got the chance to step out of my comfort zone and just focus on being a great singer. I also got to do a couple of amazing co-writes, for instance with Harry Hess of HAREM SCAREM,” continues Angelica. “But what I’m most happy about is that I got to include a couple of my own songs too. It’s a great mix of classic but modern AOR love songs.”
Helped by producer, drummer and songwriting partner Daniel Flores (FIND ME, SEVENTH WONDER, THE MURDER OF MY SWEET), Angelica managed to create a superb album which offers soaring and instantly likeable hook lines, solid guitar riffs and a crisp sound.
“After releasing two albums with THE MURDER OF MY SWEET, I get an opportunity to show my fans a slightly different side of me and at the same time have fun and explore another side of rock music that I grew up with and truly love,” says Angelica. “I have pushed my boundaries vocally on this album and grown as a singer, which is very important for me on a more personal level. I guess this is every singer’s dream.”

01. Breaking My Heart
02. I Am Strong
03. To Your Rescue

“Tour De Force” is the eagerly awaited follow-up to THE POODLES‘ Swedish No. 1 album from 2011, “Performocracy”. Behind the wheel, taking on the duties of producer for a fourth time, was Mats Valentin and once again, the band wishes to underline with the album title their superb entertaining abilities both as a hard-rocking studio unit and as live act.
“When writing and creating music, we try to do something that we would love to listen to ourselves. It’s always been important for us to do music close to our hearts,” said bass player Pontus Egberg. “I do feel, however, that there’s a newly found playfulness about a lot of the tracks. I’m not quite sure what it is myself, but it’s great!”
With songs like “Shut Up”, “Happily Ever After”, “Kings And Fools” and “Going Down”, THE POODLES stay true to their legacy of powerful, melodic metal while at the same time stretching into a new, more playful arena, flirting with influences from the past but always with a watchful eye on the present and in to the future.

STRYPER‘s November 16 concert at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California will be filmed a for a forthcoming CD/DVD. Tickets for the show can be purchased at Ticketweb.com.
STRYPER‘s new album, “No More Hell To Pay”, will be released on November 5 in North America via Frontiers Records. The effort will be made available in two formats — standard CD and deluxe digipak featuring exclusive video content. Produced by Michael Sweet himself, the set features some of STRYPER‘s strongest and heaviest material ever.
“No More Hell To Pay” includes STRYPER‘s cover version of “Jesus Is Just Alright”, a gospel song written by Arthur Reid Reynolds. STRYPER guitarist/vocalist Michael Sweet said, “It rivals our cover of EARTH, WIND & FIRE‘s ‘Shining Star’ — riffs!”
“No More Hell To Pay” track listing:
02. No More Hell To Pay
03. Saved By Love
04. Jesus Is Just Alright
05. The One
07. Marching Into Battle
08. Te Amo
09. Sticks & Stones
10. Water Into Wine
Regarding the musical direction of STRYPER‘s new material, Michael Sweet told Screamer Magazine: “The song ‘God’, which is on ‘The Covering’; if you took that song along with ‘Bleeding From Inside Out’ and ‘Blackened’ [from ‘Second Coming’], and you put it on the same album, that’s a pretty good indication of where we are going and where we are at right now. But at the same time this album is all its own.”
He added: “Every song has a hooky guitar riff. Everything is in minor keys, so it’s a little darker sounding and a little tougher. It’s definitely our heaviest record and I think people will be pleasantly surprised.
“The people who do like the poppier side of STRYPER, like ‘Calling On You’ and ‘Holding On’, this record isn’t going to really give them that. There are a lot of vocal hooks and melodies going on, but it’s a little darker, and a little edgier. To reference, there is less songs like ‘Calling On You’ and more songs like ‘To Hell With The Devil’. It’s more in that vein than the poppier vein.”
