L.A. hardcore act Terror has issued the following brief announcement online via Facebook about gearing up to record a new album next year:

“Looks like we’re hittin the studio in May to record a new album!”

The band also commented earlier in the week:

“Tonight was our last show of 2011! Thanks to Joe for the great show in Philly and big thanks to everyone who made this such a great year for Terror. We’re not slowing down though. We’re going home for the holidays to start writing for our next record and to prepare for the Persistence Tour in Europe this January with Biohazard and Suicidal Tendencies See you soon.”

New York based act Seventh Void, which features Type O Negative members Johnny Kelly and Kenny Hickey, has posted the following update online about splitting with guitarist Matt Brown:

“Sad to report that Matt Brown has left the band. No replacement has been made yet. We’ll let you know when there is one.

“Meanwhile, the rest of us are working on demos and will hopefully be recording the next Seventh Void record before the holidays. At least that’s our goal! Please keep checking in for updates! As always, thanks for the support!”

Arrayan Path (formerly known as Arryan Path) has issued the following update about appearing at the upcoming Ayia Napa Festival:
