Kataklysm have released their track Like Animals for streaming. Hear it below.

It’s taken from Waiting For The End To Come, the Canadian death metallers’ first album since 2010′s Heaven’s Venom.

They recorded it with former Neuraxis drummer Olu Beaudoin, who’s standing in for Max Dumahel while he takes time off to deal with his alcohol addiction.

Kataklysm, who appeared at Bloodstock in August, hit the UK in January for a tour with support from Fleshgod Apocalypse and Krisiun:

Grind kings Pig Destroyer released their fifth studio album “Book Burner” this past October on Relapse Records. The deluxe editions of the album each contain a bonus disc of punk covers and a short story, titled The Atheist, penned by frontman JR Hayes.

Today CVLT Nation has premiered JR Hayes’ short story The Atheist on their website. Check it out exclusively at this location.

The Atheist is a post-apocalyptic tale about a decaying world taken over by the violence of religion that showcases the renowned lyricists’ style for the first time as prose. The deluxe 2xLP also contains an etched b-side featuring artwork by Wormrot frontman Arif Rot. All of the editions are available for order via Relapse Records here.

“Book Burner,” the new album from the grind champs in Pig Destroyer, will see release this coming October 22nd via Relapse Records. Today RevolverMag.com is hosting an exclusive stream of another new track from the album. The song “Baltimore Strangler” can be heard at this location.

In conjunction with the release of “Book Burner,” Pig Destroyer and Relapse Records have launched the “This is Beautiful, This is Art” Contest. The object of the contest is to post an original picture, drawing, handwritten note, sculpture, animation or anything else you can think of with your favorite Pig Destroyer lyrics included on the piece. The piece then needs to be posted via Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr tagging the band. There will be one grand prize winner and three runners up. For more information and a complete list of prizes visit the official contest page right here. All entries must be received by October 15th.

New York traditional metal band Riot proceeded with its scheduled performances at the urging of founder/guitarist Mark Reale and his family. Reale was sidelined when he was recently admitted to the hospital for complications resulting from Crohn’s disease. A fan video from the performance at BB Kings in New York City on January 18, 2012 surfaced on the web this morning. The band continued as a four piece with second guitarist Mike Flyntz flying solo.

The following are the remaining dates for the Reale-less Riot:

Jan. 23-27 – Miami, FL – 70,000 Tons Of Metal
