Bury Tomorrow [Photo Credit: Tom Barnes]

There are plenty of reasons to be excited about metalcore again right now, and few have managed to revive its most basic and shameless formula in such emphatic, well-executed fashion as Bury Tomorrow. The South Coast crew released a hum-dinger of an album with last year’s chorus-stacked The Union Of Crowns, but amazingly, this week sees their first proper headline trek in honour of that album.

They’ve been racking up support slots, festival sets and overseas tours aplenty over the past 18 months, but fans will finally get the chance to get the full BT experience shoved in their faces during this particular tour, with all dates either sold out or perilously close to doing so.

This will be your final chance to catch the lads before they fully throw themselves into recording album number three, so if you’re able to snag a ticket, grab one, have a big old mosh and a singalong and help celebrate the rise of one of the UK’s most promising young acts.

Catch them on the dates below:

Sep 26 Southampton Mo Club
Sep 27 Bristol The Fleece
Sep 28 Birmingham O2 Academy2
Sep 29 Manchester Academy 3
Sep 30 Newcastle O2 Academy2
Oct 1 Glasgow Garage
Oct 2 Nottingham Rescue Rooms
Oct 3 Norwich Waterfront
Oct 4 London O2 Academy Islington

The Union Of Crowns is out now via Nuclear Blast

Steel Panther: Sexy beasts

They’re baaaaa-aaaaaack. Steel Panther have announced the title of their next studio album, and you’ll all be shocked that it’s a bit naughty-sounding.

All You Can Eat (we told you) is the follow-up to 2011′s Balls Out and will likely land in early 2014. The album was recorded in Sherman Oaks, California with producer Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Meat Loaf).

“We feel like Steel Panther is like a buffet,” says frontman Michael Starr. “You know what I mean?! There’s a little bit of everything for everybody. And you can have as much of us as you want.”

“Listen to our record and tell us that our songs aren’t better than most of the bands out there,” adds drummer Stix Zadinia. “How funny is that? At the end of the day, it comes down to the songs. I think our songs — without sounding egotistical — I think our songs are great. When you hear the hooks in our songs, you hear the playing and you hear the vocals, you throw that up against any band in any era, and I think it stands up.”

The first video from the new album, Party Like It’s The End Of The World, will be unveiled later this year.

Head here to read more from the lads.
