Fan-filmed video footage of MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s September 22 concert in Las Vegas as part of the band’s second residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino can be seen below.

The fall shows, dubbed “Evening In Hell”, are an all-new production and the band is pushing its own envelope once again. The production was designed exclusively for The Joint in partnership with AEG Live and sees the band performing in front of just 4,000 people per show max, a far cry from the arenas MÖTLEY CRÜE is accustomed to playing.

“There is no show like this. There never has been, and there never will be,” MÖTLEY CRÜE lead singer Vince Neil told Robin Leach of the Las Vegas Sun. “You’ve seen video fire from other rock acts on tour, but never the real thing.”

Vince continued: “It’s more than any rock group has ever produced or attempted. It really is entering the depths of hell. There’s fire all around and fire coming down from above.

“There’s no question this is the most dangerous theatrics ever created and far more than anything we expected. But, hey, this is Vegas, and we do bigger, bolder, badder, sleazier here better than any other place on Earth.

“We have the best fire tech experts in the world. This is so over the top, the only thing cool is what we do! Basically, we’re setting everything on fire in a way that’s never been done before.”

Vince also spoke about the challenge of singing nonstop for 90 minutes. “I don’t get one break,” he told the Las Vegas Sun. “We start with a song from when we began 30 years ago. We’ve reached back over the years to old hits to match up with new hits. It’s a difficult setlist for me vocally — ‘Too Young To Fall In Love’ is no easy song to perform.”

MÖTLEY CRÜE kicked off its second residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas this past Wednesday night (September 18).

Fan-filmed video footage of the second concert of the residency — which took place last night (Friday, September 20) — can be seen below.

A short teaser clip for the festival can be seen below.

The Family Values tour launched in 1998, combining the best of rock and hip hop, and was followed up by additional treks in 1999, 2001, 2006 and 2007. In addition to headliners KORN, Family Values over the years included performances by such acts as RAMMSTEIN, LIMP BIZKIT, PRIMUS, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, LINKIN PARK, EVANESCENCE and DMX.

KORN will release “The Paradigm Shift” on October 8. The band’s 11th studio album is the first to feature original guitarist Brian “Head” Welch since 2003′s “Take A Look In The Mirror”. The first single is “Never Never”.

The band will kick off a headlining North American tour on September 26 in Philadelphia, concluding in Las Vegas on October 12.

A five-minute video in which the members of AVENGED SEVENFOLD talk about the making of their sixth studio album, “Hail To The King”, can be seen below.

“Hail To The King” will be released on August 27. The long-awaited follow-up to 2010′s “Nightmare” was once again produced by Mike Elizondo and is the first to be wholly written without drummer and key songwriter James “The Rev” Sullivan, who died in December 2009. Sullivan has since been replaced by Arin Ilejay, a former member of CONFIDE.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD has announced the “Hail To The King” tour — a massive headlining U.S. arena tour to take place this October and the band’s first full scale American tour since 2011. The run of dates will kick off in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday, October 3 and wrap up on October 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Supporting the band on all dates will be special guests DEFTONES and GHOST B.C.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD will celebrate the album release by playing a free show at the Hollywood Palladium on August 26.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD‘s video for the song “Hail To The King” was directed by Syndrome, an award-winning design and live-action directing studio.

Accoding to The Pulse Of Radio, AVENGED SEVENFOLD recently notched the fifth No. 1 single of the band’s career this week with “Hail To The King”, the title track of its upcoming album. What sets AVENGED SEVENFOLD apart from a number of other current rock acts is that they have not used outside songwriters to help them write songs for the radio. In fact, singer M. Shadows told The Pulse Of Radio it never occurred to them. “I didn’t even know many rock bands used other writers,” he said. “I knew they did in the past — I knew Alice Cooper used to and, you know, AEROSMITH would use other writers. Coming from Warped Tour and the punk rock background that we came from, it never even crossed our mind. To us, it’s like, we try to create our art, and if we don’t have that creative outlet and it’s not working, I’d rather just wait it out until something that we want to say and we want to put down comes. But bringing in another writer never, ever crossed our mind.”

“Hail To The King”, the band’s sixth studio album, will arrive on August 27.

The CD is AVENGED SEVENFOLD‘s follow-up to 2010′s chart-topping “Nightmare”.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD will begin a fall headlining North American tour on October 3 in Chicago, concluding on October 26 in Las Vegas. Support on the road trip will come from DEFTONES and GHOST.

The band is playing a free show for fans in Los Angeles on Monday (August 26), the day that the new record comes out.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is featured in the latest installment of “Walmart Soundcheck”, an online series launched by discount retailer Walmart. Go behind the scenes as the Las Vegas metallers give the lowdown on connecting with their fans, working with Rob Halford of JUDAS PRIEST, the current state of heavy metal music, and recording their biggest album to date, the two-part “The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell”. Check it out at Soundcheck.Walmart.com.

On their new stage show:

Ivan Moody (vocals): “Well, we wanted to go bigger and better. Our fans have seen so much from us at this point so we wanted to give them excess. We wanted to bring a bigger production to the people who have already seen us in the past and kind of give them a new element and a twist on what we do live anyway. So, the energy is always there, but we think they deserve something special this time, so they’re in for a treat.”

On making a two-part album:

Jeremy Spencer (drums): “We got into a really good flow and it really just started coming out. And we’re like, ‘We can’t stop, let’s just keep going.’ Then you get 24 songs and we’re, like, ‘Well, we’ve gotta put out two records,’ because we didn’t want to lose any of them.”

On the fans:

Moody: “We stay in contact with our fan base, I’d say, more than just about any band out there. it’s something that’s always kept us in the position we’re in, and I think it shows through. Once again, it’s being a band of the people. It’s not standing above them, it’s standing beside them.”

A preview clip can be seen below.
