Parisian modern metallers As They Burn have announced that their forthcoming album will be titled “Will, Love, Life” and is due out February 19th, 2013. A teaser trailer is available below, and pre-orders are live now at this location.

Vcalist Kevin Trevor comments: “Our new effort is on its way and is in the mixing process with Jason Suecof. We are really glad about how the album sounds and we hope that you will love and respect it as much as us. Will, Love Life is heavier, more mature, atmospheric and darker than our previous album, but also very positive and still full of symbolism.”

Machinist Bastien Jacquesson also issued the following statement about the artwork: “The pyramid on the cover is a mystical sign, a sign of spiritual elevation and knowledge. It is also linked with Aleister Crowley and the Thelema mythology which always been a big influence for us. The cover art photo was taken by our great friend Anthony Dubois who’s also known as Meshuggah’s official photographer and French painter Charlotte Mollet drew each of the eleven signs that represent the eleven tracks of the record. Each symbol has a special meaning linked with the song’s lyrics.”

Fans can catch As They Burn on tour with Betraying the Martyrs in February throughout Europe before joining Job For A Cowboy, War From A Harlots Mouth, and Beneath the Massacre on Bonecrusher Fest in Europe beginning March 1st.

Counterparts has released a new video for “The Disconnect,” taken from latest release “The Current Will Carry Us.” The video was produced by Vinnie Leonetti on the band’s recent Canadian tour with Stray From The Path and Obey The Brave. Check out the clip below.

Vocalist Brendan Murphy comments: “The video for The Disconnect is a perfect representation of us as a band. When we go on tour, we aren’t there to impress anyone, we aren’t going to ‘work,’ and we are going to have fun. Since day one, this band has been about having fun and making ourselves happy. This video gives people an insight into who we are when we aren’t on stage and how we spend our time. Whether it is skateboarding, trust-falling off our trailer, dancing, getting drunk, playing UNO in crappy hotel rooms or just straight up being children; you can be sure that we’re having the time of our lives. That’s what motivates us to get in the van time after time.”

The band’s upcoming tour dates are:
