FFDP return to the UK with Avenged Sevenfold this winter

Five Finger Death Punch have released new single Battleborn as well as the track listing for new album The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell, Vol. 2.

“After getting off the road from two years of touring I was physically and emotionally drained,” explains FFDP frontman Ivan Moody of the concept behind Battleborn. “It felt like I’d seen almost every inch of the globe and shook every hand there was to shake. I completely lost track of time, the flights, the travel, the shows all seemed to blur together. My family and friends became a distant memory. Even though I was doing what I’d dreamed of doing, it took all the energy that I had…it was exhausting. That made me realise, everything worth fighting for, you will actually have to fight for. Every wish, every dream, every idea comes to existence only through blood, sweat and sacrifice…we are all battle born.”

Check out the track for yourself below:

The Wrong Side Of Heaven…Vol 2 Track Listing

01 Here to Die
02 Weight Beneath My Sin
03 Wrecking Ball
04 Battle Born
05 Cradle to the Grave
06 Matter of Time
07 The Agony of Regret
08 Cold
09 Let This Go
10 My Heart Lied
11 A Day in My Life
12 House of The Rising Sun

Watch this space for that new single. Meanwhile, Five Finger Death Punch will return to the UK with Avenged Sevenfold and Device on the following dates:

November 2013

Saturday 30 Manchester Arena

December 2013

Thursday 5 LG Arena, Birmingham

The boys are back

Amazing scenes as Avenged Sevenfold‘s Hail To The King has been officially confirmed as this week’s Number 1 in the UK album charts, despite some stiff competition.

“It has been a hell of a ride thus far and having our first Number 1 album in the UK is a monumental achievement for our fans and us,” guitarist Zacky Vengeance tells OfficialCharts.com. “I remember playing the 100 Club to prove to our fans we were willing to start from the ground up again to earn your respect. Thank you for putting heavy metal back on the throne. We look forward to growing old with you.”

Congrats to the Avenged lads! We’ll see you in a few months time.

Hail To The King Tracklisting

Shepherd of Fire
Hail to the King
Doing Time
This Means War
Requiem
Crimson Day
Heretic
Coming Home
Planets
Acid Rain

Hail To The King is the follow-up to 2010′s Nightmare and is the first Avenged album to feature no writing credits from The Rev, who tragically passed away in 2009.

M Shadows exclusively told us earlier this year that the album has a Sabbthy, Led Zeppelin kinda vibe. Whatever happens, Avenged Sevenfold will make a long-awaited return to the UK this winter, hitting the following three venues:

November 2013

Saturday 30 Manchester Arena

December 2013

Sunday 1 Wembley Arena, London

Thursday 5 LG Arena, Birmingham

The dates will serve as the OC metal heavyweights’ first UK shows since Download 2011, with tickets on sale now, priced at £28.50 (subject to booking fee) and available from this link.
