The Pulse Of Radio reports that TOOL and A PERFECT CIRCLE frontman Maynard James Keenan‘s house in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles is on the market, according to L.A. Curbed. Keenan is asking just under $2.8 million for the home, which boasts a pool, hot tub and uncluttered view of the famous Hollywood sign. The Mediterranean-style house also has a lot of Middle Eastern touches and a bold use of different colors in every room, reflecting the fact that Keenan once went to school for interior design.

The singer now lives in Jerome, Arizona, a former mining village and one-time ghost town that’s home these days to artists, writers and other independent types. Keenan told The Pulse Of Radio why it’s a fascinating place. “It’s a magic spot, and it was a copper mining, gold mining town back in the late 1800s, early 1900s,” he said. “And, of course, the mines slowed down and closed up, and a lot of people bailed, and it went down to about a population of 50. It’s one of the most active ghost towns in theory. It’s been voted a couple of times in different ‘ghost’ publications as being the most haunted town in the United States.”

Keenan‘s Caduceus Cellars wine business is located in unincorporated land in the nearby Sedona area.

Although TOOL was founded in Los Angeles, Keenan has no love for the city — he sang about his hopes that it would fall into the sea in the classic TOOL track “AEnema”.

TOOL is currently on a short tour that finds the band in San Francisco on Wednesday night (March 12) for the second show of a two-night stand.

According to the 2010 census, the population of Jerome is 444.

The town was incorporated in 1889 and produced more than one billion dollars in copper, gold and silver mining over the next 70 years.

After the last of its mines closed in 1953, Jerome’s population declined to around 50 people by the end of that decade. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976 and is now a popular tourist destination.

The Pulse Of Radio reports that Ozzy Osbourne‘s mansion in Buckinghamshire, England has been ruined by flooding during one of the U.K.’s rainiest winters ever. According to the Mirror, the house, which sits on a seven-acre estate, is located in one of the hardest hit areas of the country and now needs more than half a million dollars worth of repairs.

Ozzy‘s wife and manager Sharon said the building was “destroyed,” while Ozzy added, “It’s been completely flooded. The rain has battered down the walls and seeped through everything. There is water everywhere… We can’t even go about getting it fixed because apparently it’s going to take nine months to dry out. The place is ruined.”

The water damage is the latest incident to plague the Osbournes at their English countryside retreat. Others have included Ozzy‘s all terrain vehicle crash in 2003, two fires and a burglary.

While they wait to see if the house in England can be salvaged, the Osbournes will stay at their Los Angeles home — which itself was the site of a small fire in January 2013.

Ozzy begins a short North American tour with BLACK SABBATH on March 31 in Brooklyn, New York.

The Pulse Of Radio reports: Although Slash and BLACK EYED PEAS singer Fergie became good friends after collaborating on a song for Slash‘s first solo album, when it came time to name her new baby with husband Josh Duhamel, Fergie went with the first name of Slash‘s former GUNS N’ ROSES bandmate, Axl Rose. Were Slash‘s feelings hurt at all? Asked by TMZ what he thought of Fergie calling her son Axl, Slash said, “I think it’s really cool, I actually talked to [Fergie and Josh] yesterday. It’s all good . . . who am I to judge?”

Slash told The Pulse Of Radio a while back how he first met Fergie and what he thought of her. “I did a BLACK EYED PEAS fundraiser called Peapod, and she showed up. I’d never met her before, and I was expecting, really, I thought, a Puerto Rican girl, ’cause of the way that her songs sort of sound. And so here’s this white girl from Orange County and that really sort of surprised me. And then we started doing this LED ZEPPELIN song and she jumped on the vocal and it just blew my mind.”

Fergie and Slash ended up recording a song called “Beautiful Dangerous” for his 2010 solo debut as well as a cover of GUNS N’ ROSES“Paradise City” that ended up as a Japanese B-side.

Slash has been working on material for his third solo outing, but is also currently doing press for “Nothing Left To Fear”, the first horror film produced under his Slasher Films banner.

In addition to producing, Slash scored the film and wrote two original songs for it, with vocalist Myles Kennedy from his band singing on one of them.

“Nothing Left To Fear” opens in limited theatrical release on October 4, and hits VOD and DVD on October 8.
