Rhode Island’s Thy Will Be Done recently completed work on a brand new EP that is slated for release later this summer. The band engineered the EP itself and teamed up once again with producer Zeuss to mix the six brand new studio tracks. The following press release was issued:

“With influences and roots that harkens the listener back to metal’s glory days, and songs and arrangements that echo the voice of the oppressed and broken, the end result is a release that brings hope and far surpasses its predecessors, and in all aspects possesses the capabilities of cementing Thy Will Be Done’s position in the metal world. More details, including title and release date will be revealed in the coming weeks.”

Check out a video preview for the EP at this location. Today frontman J. Costa will be appearing on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal with Jose Mangin to exclusively premiere a new track from the forthcoming EP. The interview and premiere will air at 5:00 PM EST, with a replay set for 8:00 PM EST.

J. Costa commented on the new EP: “There’s always a sense of accomplishment when unveiling a piece of expression that we’ve created. Personally, what makes this not so much different as much as special, is that it represents my rediscovery of exactly why I enjoy expressing myself through the medium of music.

“The songs on the EP are the core of what initially came together musically as well as lyrically after enduring what seemed like a whirlwind of tribulations: the passing of several relatives, infidelity, having 2 friends diagnosed with disease, and having one of my best friends out of my life for a period of time. All these events occurred within a span of 18 months and I almost stopped everything.

“I wanted to express the subconscious and the suffering to illustrate the subjective emotions and responses that these events caused to ignite within me. There’s an immense physical and emotional force behind our live performances, and it was important for us to really convey that through this recording. In our opinion, the selection of songs as well as the production of this EP coalesced into a release that really exemplifies that energy.”

Solid State Records is pleased to announce the release of To Speak Of Wolves’ second full-length album, “Find Your Worth, Come Home,” available online and in stores everywhere May 22nd. Solid State commented on the upcoming release:

“The band’s first album with dynamic new frontman Gage Speas, ‘Find Your Worth, Come Home’ sees the revitalized lineup reaching into darker, heavier and faster territory. It’s an album of rediscovery, and an album that freshly stamps what To Speak of Wolves is about, from the title on down.”

“The title is about we’ve been doing – finding ourselves as a band, proving what are and doing what we do best,” explains drummer and founding member Phil Chamberlain. “This record is something that we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve gotten a lot of compliments about how intense we are live and I don’t think that came across on the first album. This time around we went into the recording process wanting to make sure to capture that intensity, and I think we did that.”

“We couldn’t be more stoked and proud of what we’ve created with this album,” Chamberlain exclaims. “We are excited and can’t wait to share it with everyone!”

The band also has the following upcoming tour dates:

June 15 – Stone Mountain GA @ ATLANTA FEST
