Fister has posted a series of show dates for the next week in the central U.S. You may recall Fister as being the St. Louis sludge band that has formed a cult of Charles Bronson, whom they believe became the ruler of music from the underworld when he died and blew the devil away with a .44. The guys from Fister channel him through their music and songs such as “Deaf Wish.” After the tour dates is the track “Mazda of Puppets,” which is not a cover of a well known song.

July 7th at Mr. Roberts with The Body Thief and Order of The Jackal Madison, WI
July 8th at Medusa with Myrrh, Blue Ox, and Ashen Minneapolis, MN

Long Island hardcore/thrash hybrid, This Is Hell, has announced a string of U.S. tour dates in support of the band’s fourth studio album, “Black Mass.” The tour will kick off tomorrow night in Schenectady, N.Y., before wrapping up at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Mass. on April 20th.

The band has also released a music video for the song, “Demons,” which can be viewed below. Commented guitarist, Rick Jimenez, “In the downtime we just recently had, we blasted through a video for ‘Demons’ from the Black Mass album. The song is fast, raw and thrashy, so the video is fast, raw and thrashy, and it’s us just doing our thing in the practice space. We’re ready to explode back on the road in the States after our break and bring some ruckus!”

“Black Mass,” the follow-up to the 2010 release, “Weight of the World,” hit stores on October 11th via Rise Records.
