MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee tweeted the following last night:

“Hey @BLABBERMOUTHNET Whats if feel like to be the worst site ever? Yeah its me again and ya’ll still suck ass!!” He added: “Oh yeah and bring on the haters….i mean admirers!!!”

Back in February 2012, Lee was similarly enthused about BLABBERMOUTH.NET, writing on his Twitter account: “@BLABBERMOUTHNET has got to be THE WORST music site ever! maybe its not the site but the assholes that post there!”

In January 2011, Lee posted a message on Twitter congratulating BLINK-182 drummer and hip-hop producer Travis Barker on the release of his album, “Give The Drummer Some”, and slamming BLABBERMOUTH.NET “haters” who made comments that were critical of the CD’s musical content and cover artwork. Lee wrote, “Travis! Congrats on the new CD and [by the way]… FUCK all the haters at Blabbermouth.com [sic]. They can suck it! They did the same shit to me!”

MÖTLEY CRÜE kicked off its second residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on September 18. The fall shows, dubbed “Evening In Hell”, are an all-new production designed exclusively for The Joint in partnership with AEG Live.

“A Public Disservice Announcement”, the latest album from Lee‘s METHODS OF MAYHEM project, sold 2,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 153 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released in September 2010 via Loud & Proud Records, a Roadrunner Records imprint focusing on established artists.

Ashley “Lux” Elzinga of the 105.7 The Point radio station in St. Louis, Missouri conducted an interview with SHINEDOWN guitarist Zach Myers. You can now watch the chat below.

According to The Pulse Of Radio, Loudwire asked Myers what SHINEDOWN has coming up next on its schedule after this summer’s Carnival Of Madness tour. Myers said, “We’re going to go home. Brent [Smith, frontman] has to rest his voice. He’s not allowed to talk during the day right now. He’s on vocal rest… We take these weeks off, then go to the U.K. We’re only going to be there for eight days.”

Also on the agenda is the possible release of a collection of covers that the group has recorded, with Myers saying, “I’m not sure what’s going down with that. Originally we were just going to release it on YouTube, which you don’t need permission for, obviously, because people do covers on YouTube every day. But I believe fans really want it as a download . . . Now we’re going to release it as an EP with just Brent and I. I believe it will come out during the holidays.”

The Carnival Of Madness tour, which also features SKILLET, PAPA ROACH and others, finished up in Puyallup, Washington on September 18.

SHINEDOWN has been on the road steadily since the March 2012 release of its fourth studio album, “Amaryllis”.

Ozzy Osbourne was a guest on Billy Morrison‘s (BILLY IDOL, THE CULT, CAMP FREDDY) radio show, “Billy Morrison’s Dirty Little Secrets”, last Wednesday, September 18 on TradioV.com. You can now watch the program below.

BLACK SABBATH will release a new DVD, “Live… Gathered In Their Masses”, on November 26 via Vertigo/Republic. The set will contain footage of the band’s April 29 and May 1, 2013 concerts in Melbourne, Australia in support of SABBATH‘s long-awaited reunion album, “13”.

The disc, which came out this past June, became the first SABBATH album in the band’s 43-year history to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard chart. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE drummer Brad Wilk played drums on the CD after Bill Ward sat out the sessions. While money was believed to be an issue, Ward was reportedly also upset that the group wanted another drummer around anyway to back him up if he was physically unable to get the job done.

Ozzy told The Pulse Of Radio that Ward being out of shape was the main reason he’s not on the record. “Bill Ward has got the most physically demanding job of the lot of us, ’cause he’s the timekeeper. I don’t think personally he had the chops to pull it off, you know. The saddest thing is that he needed to own up to that, and we could have worked around it, whether we had a drummer on the side with him or something. But I suppose it was something to do with finances as well.”

MÖTLEY CRÜE kicked off its second residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas this past Wednesday night (September 18).

Fan-filmed video footage of the second concert of the residency — which took place last night (Friday, September 20) — can be seen below.

The fall shows, dubbed “Evening In Hell”, are an all-new production and the band is pushing its own envelope once again. The production was designed exclusively for The Joint in partnership with AEG Live and sees the band performing in front of just 4,000 people per show max, a far cry from the arenas MÖTLEY CRÜE is accustomed to playing.

“There is no show like this. There never has been, and there never will be,” MÖTLEY CRÜE lead singer Vince Neil told Robin Leach of the Las Vegas Sun. “You’ve seen video fire from other rock acts on tour, but never the real thing.”

Vince continued: “It’s more than any rock group has ever produced or attempted. It really is entering the depths of hell. There’s fire all around and fire coming down from above.

“There’s no question this is the most dangerous theatrics ever created and far more than anything we expected. But, hey, this is Vegas, and we do bigger, bolder, badder, sleazier here better than any other place on Earth.

“We have the best fire tech experts in the world. This is so over the top, the only thing cool is what we do! Basically, we’re setting everything on fire in a way that’s never been done before.”

Vince also spoke about the challenge of singing nonstop for 90 minutes. “I don’t get one break,” he told the Las Vegas Sun. “We start with a song from when we began 30 years ago. We’ve reached back over the years to old hits to match up with new hits. It’s a difficult setlist for me vocally — ‘Too Young To Fall In Love’ is no easy song to perform.”

MÖTLEY CRÜE kicked off its second residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last night (Wednesday, September 18). Fan-filmed video footage can be seen below.

To celebrate the opening of MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s second residency, the band will take part in its first Reddit Ask Me Anything session this Friday (September 20) at 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST.

If you have a question for MÖTLEY CRÜE, join the conversation on Friday at this location.

The fall shows, dubbed “Evening In Hell”, are an all-new production and the band is pushing its own envelope once again. The production was esigned exclusively for The Joint in partnership with AEG Live and sees the band performing in front of just 4,000 people per show max, a far cry from the arenas MÖTLEY CRÜE is accustomed to playing.

“There’s a lot of cool stuff we’re going to use this time,” MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil told Vegas.com about the band’s return to Las Vegas. “Technology changes so rapidly and new stuff comes out all the time. All of a sudden someone goes, look at this, and we go, ‘Holy shit, that’s cool.’

“We have to outdo ourselves every time we put something new together. This one — I don’t know how we’re going to top this one. There’s some crazy stuff going on in this thing and just a lot of fire and smoke and monsters and all kinds of cool stuff.”

Bobby Reynolds, vice president of booking for AEG Live, told USA Today: “[MÖTLEY CRÜE have] been around so long because they’re just a great live band. They put together a brilliant show every time, they always wow their fans, there’s always something extra to see at a MÖTLEY CRÜE show. You’re always going to see something that surprises you. If there’s another band that puts together such a great mix of theatrics and stunts and production and pyro and then really fun songs, I don’t know who they are.”

“I think Las Vegas is all about visuals and shows and going to see a spectacle and that’s what MÖTLEY CRÜE has always been about,” Neil told USA Today. “We’ve always been about visual and good music, so putting those things together for ourselves which we’ve always done, fits right in with what Las Vegas is all about.”

Congratulations are in order for PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix and his wife, Kelly, who are the proud new parents a baby boy, Brixton Gabriel Shaddix. Kelly underwent a Caesarean section procedure a a Californian hospital on Wednesday, September 18 and Brixton was born at 9:45 a.m. local time. He weighed in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces and measured 19 inches long. This is the third son for Jacoby and Kelly, who are also the parents of Makaile Ceilo Shaddix, born March 24, 2002 and Jagger Monroe Shaddix, born September 13, 2004.

During the making of PAPA ROACH‘s latest album, “The Connection”, Shaddix split and reconciled with his wife of 16 years and also fell off the wagon.

“This record is a snapshot of me at my most desperate,” Jacoby told The Aquarian Weekly. “As I was writing this record, [my wife and I] were split, so there was a lot of pain and anger and frustration. As the dust settles in my life, I realize that I’m the orchestrator of all this chaos. I’m the one at fault. I’m the fucking problem. When you go through that stuff, sometimes it’s hard to own your own shit, to step up to the plate and own it. I just had to because I wanted to do the right thing.”

He added: “I was able to make this record, express myself and get my family back together and get my respect from my band. At the eleventh hour, I pulled it off. I don’t know, man, this is a repeating cycle in my life. I don’t know how many more times I can do this to myself.”

On September 18, AEROSMITH drummer and Rockin’ & Roastin’ creator, Joey Kramer, will make appearances at Big Y in Franklin and Walpole. To celebrate this partnership, Kramer will hit up the two Big Y locations to mix and mingle with local shoppers and fans alike. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet, chat and pose for photos with Kramer, while checking out the latest offerings from Rockin’ & Roastin’. Kramer also will be personalizing Rockin’ & Roastin’ purchases with his legendary signature, making it a delicious collector’s item.

Available in whole-bean and ground versions, Kramer‘s trio of brews from Ethiopia, Guatemala and Sumatra are currently on the shelves of Big Y in Franklin and Walpole retailing for $7.99-$8.99 per 12-ounce bag.

For more information, visit www.rockinandroastin.com.

Kramer is a coffee-loving Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer. The story of Joey Kramer‘s Rockin’ & Roastin’ organic, custom-roasted coffee blends begins in the field. Unlike “sun grown” coffee that’s cheaper to produce but requires chemical fertilizers and pesticides and leads to the destruction of native rainforests, Rockin’ & Roastin’ coffee is lovingly cultivated using the traditional “shade grown” method, under a canopy of indigenous trees. This sustainable practice supports a wide diversity of plant and animal life, provides food and shelter to migrating birds, and helps to filter carbon dioxide from the air, reducing the danger of global warming. There is currently a trio of international blends offered: two Dark roasts, from Sumatra and Ethiopia; and, a Dark-Medium, hailing from Guatemala.

“I think the biggest hurdle that I’ll have is getting the message out there that it’s not just another celebrity lending his name to make money. I’m hands-on,” Kramer told Union Leader. “I have a great team that I put together, and we’re obsessed with bringing quality gourmet coffee to the market for a reasonable retail price.”
