A trailer for “Paint The World”, the forthcoming debut album from Italian symphonic metallers SINHERESY, can be seen below. The CD, which will be released on September 30 via Bakerteam Records, was mixed and mastered at Fascination Street Studios in Varberg, Sweden by Johan Örnborg and Jens Bogren (SOILWORK, AMON AMARTH, OPETH, PARADISE LOST).

“Paint The World” track listing:

01. Last Fall
02. The Gambler
03. Paint The World
04. Roses & Thorns
05. Made For Sin
06. Breakpoint
07. Lost In The Shadows
08. Our Angel
09. Elua’s Gift
10. Lying Dreams (bonus track)

Formed in 2009 and inspired by power metal bands such as NIGHTWISH, KAMELOT and EDENBRIDGE, SINHERESY soon developed its unique blend of metal by adding a wider range of influences going from the dark sound of SIRENIA and WITHIN TEMPTATION to the power/progressive approach of SYMPHONY X and CHILDREN OF BODOM. Their first EP, “The Spiders And The Butterfly”, attracted very positive reactions from fans and critics alike and it was followed by the video clip for the song “Temptation Flame” and an increasing number of live shows.

Bakerteam Records has checked in with the following announcement about inking a deal with Sinheresy for the release of a new album: “Formed in 2009 and inspired by power metal bands such as Nightwish, Kamelot and Edenbridge, Sinheresy soon developed a unique blend of metal by adding a wider range of influences going from the Dark sound of Sirenia and Within temptation to the Power/Progressive approach of Symphony X and Children Of Bodom. “Their first EP ‘The Spiders And The Butterfly’ attracted very positive reactions from fans and critics alike and it was followed by the videoclip for the song ‘Temptation Flame’ and an increasing number of live shows. “After having signed a record deal with Bakerteam Records, Sinheresy are now ready to announce the release of their debut album ‘Paint The World,’ recorded between Fear Studios and Studio 73 (Ephel Duat, Extrema) in Ravenna, Italy and displaying the ‘cinematographic’ side of their music like never before.

Megadeth are ready for album number 14. Hopefully not called ’4teen’ or something.

Megadeth have officially started work on their new album! Hooraaaay!

The thrash titans will take a break from getting spiders named after them to record the follow-up to last year’s Th1rte3n opus with producer Johnny K.

“Some of it’s a little darker, some of it’s a little faster,” Dave Mustaine told NME. “Being in this position right now, not knowing where we’re gonna go or what we’re gonna do, it’s kind of like the world’s ours to do what we want. Are we gonna go back to the speed and thrash metal roots that made us who we are? Are we gonna experiment and rely on the melody that we’ve discovered in Megadeth songs?”

Given the run of form they’ve been on over the last few albums, we’re feeling pretty confident about this one.

King Kong ain't got shit on me

So we threw an absolute beast of a party on Monday night with our friends Hobgoblin, Kraken and Ave Satanas. People came. Bands played. Everyone got drunk. Here’s a cheeky montage of what happened: (WARNING: Contains strobe lighting, mental costumes and very, very drunk people)

We’d like to thank Heaven’s Basement, Huntress, The Defiled and Black Spiders for blowing the roof off, as well as everyone that came down and partied with us til the early hours. Especially those that threw shapes during DJ sets by Editor Alexander Milas and Metal Hammer Podcast lads Amit, Merl and Hill. Not bad for £3.50 eh? Proceeds went to Childline and Health Partnership Nepal.

Fang's for coming m-ah forget it

So last night’s Halloween show was a bit good, then? As well as epic sets from Black Spiders, The Defiled, Huntress and Heaven’s Basement, we had magic shows, a fancy dress competition, ludicrous DJ sets and much, much more.

Here are a few photos taken across the night by Big John. Cheers, Big John!
