The riff-twisting duo A Fucking Elephant has completed its latest batch of percussive auditory penetration, and is preparing to drop the “Seven Inches” 7” on January 22nd.

The New Jersey-based twosome hammered out two gnarly new tracks with engineer Colin Marston (Krallice, Dysrhythmia, Behold… The Arctopus), which will end a two-year release gap, the last new material having been captured on A Fucking Elephant’s split full-length with cohorts El Drugstore nearly two years ago.

As with the split, “Seven Inches” will pop out on Nefarious Industries, the indie label formed by deviants from both bands. The wax pressing will be limited to 500 copies overall — 250 on black vinyl and 250 on yellow — in addition to the tracks being available digitally. The track listing is:

Side A: I’m Addicted To Drugs And Sex And I Want You To Choke Me
Side B: A Bunch Of Good Looking Roundeyes

Evergreen Terrace has recently announced that the band will be playing a string of dates across Florida with several other Florida-based acts in tow. Florida is passed over by a lot of tours, so the band decided to play shows specifically for home state fans. Guitarist Josh James explains further:

“It’s strange to think that even though we tour 9 months out of the year we rarely get to play Florida. This state has a great scene, amazing bands and mostly importantly it’s our home. In early December we will head out for a weekend trip with our friends Casey Jones and Boys No Good to explore some of these scenes and to catch some great local bands. Later in the month we will be participating in Jack Rabbit’s infamous 12 Days of Christmas event in Jacksonville. It’s been almost a year since we’ve played our hometown. The show has an amazing lineup featuring Kids Like Us, His Name Was Iron, a rad band from Tallahassee called Livid and a new local Jacksonville band called Atlas. Remember, the best way to support your scene is by attending local shows and supporting not only touring bands but local ones as well. We look forward to seeing old and new faces at these shows and closing out 2011 in a memorable way.”

The band’s upcoming tour dates are as follows:

12/8 – Tallahassee, FL @ The Engine Room
12/9 – Tampa, FL @ Transitions
12/10 – Cocoa, FL @ The 321 Local
12/11 – Lake Worth, FL @ The Speak Easy
12/30 – Jacksonville, FL @ Jack Rabbits
