Reign of the Architect has checked in with the following announcement about splitting with the band’s drummer:

“With heavy hearts we inform you that our drummer and family member, Mauricio Bustamante, is no longer a part of Reign of the Architect. Various reasons led Mauricio and the ROTA family to set sail on different paths and as Mauricio embarks on a new way, we wish him all the best of luck in this new journey and he will always be a part from our family. We, Reign of the Architect, will continue our journey, stay tuned – the rolling thunder is headed your way.”

Mauricio also issued the following statement:

“Dear followers, friends, brothers and family that have been with me during this 5 years with Reign of the Architect: Allow me to announce that the shadow of time has reached me in this band, so I will stop walking in it. There are many reasons that have led me to take this decision, but in the end the most important is to create other horizons. There is no doubt that it has been one of the most important decisions I have made in my life, and in order to give birth to new things in my soul, this path had to finish. I am currently working on new dreams and new trails. It is quite hard to walk on thin ice when you have a solid ground. In conclusion, it’s all summarized in the name of our album…’RISE.’

“From the bottom of my heart I want to thank the musicians who welcomed my dream of Reign of the Architect, and with whom I worked throughout this 5 years, such as: Mike LePond, Jonas Hörnqvist, Gus Mosanto, Kyle Honea, Joost Van Den Broek and Yuval Kramer. I leave a piece of my heart in Reign of the Architect, and I take other with me. Thank you for all the moments; laughter, tears, silences and the distant similarities that we found in these years, perhaps a new encounter awaits us.

“I will be posting on my personal page here all the news about what is coming next. I hope to see you all in this new dream page. Until next time. Here, there, wherever…”
