The following press release was issued about the band: “Influenced by the streets, the sick, the lower class, the woods, wine, the hedonistic criminal bliss of New Orleans, and the destruction of time signatures, The Guilt Of… is propagated by the demented duo of EyeHateGod’s Mike IX Williams and former Wolvhammer evildoer Ryan Mckern

Amon Amarth: Back in 2013

Swedish Viking metal titans Amon Amarth have completed the writing process for their new album and are ready to head back into the studio to start recording it!

“We want to thank everyone that has supported and helped us in 2012,” write the band on their website.

“2013 will be another intense year for Amon Amarth, and looks like it will be slightly unpredictable and mischievous…

“We’ve just finished writing all the songs for the next full-length album, and we’re ready to enter the studio to start recording them in the New Year.”

Unconfirmed rumours suggest that the as-yet-untitled opus, which will be the follow-up to 2010′s Sutur Rising and released via Metal Blade, will feature songs about beardy people smashing the shit out of each other and gods and monsters and whatnot.

While we’re waiting, we can always stock up on Amon Amarth wine.

Motorhead Beer: Definitely tastier than our webmaster's Photoshop skills

This was always going to happen. Rock ‘n’ roll icons Motörhead have launched their own brand of beer!

Following on from the Motörhead wine launched last year, fans can now also down a few Bastards Lagers.

“Motörhead Bastards Lager is a gloriously fresh and fruity beer with a wonderful character of light malt,” says Yvonne Wener of Brands For Fans. “It’s easy to drink but has a hard rock edge. It’s perfect for all those occasions when you feel that craving for a cold beer such as those summer barbecues and picnics, naturally with music pumping at full blast through the loudspeakers.”

Sounds good to us. We’ll have ten.

For more info, head to the Motörhead drinks page!
