Stray From The Path has issued the following statement about having the Reno stop of the All Stars Tour cut short:

“I’m sorry Reno for our set getting cut short. We will not tolerate security guards choking out kids for singing along , and we had to stand up for our fans. We will not tolerate our crew member getting punched in the face by security. We do what we do for the kids, and nothing else. In the end we were thrown out of the venue for ‘inciting a riot.’

“Nobody should be treated the way that kid was treated. That’s someone’s son, brother, or best friend. He was going off for our band and was assaulted.

“Don’t stand for this at your shows. This is about you, us and music, not power tripping security guards.”

Solid State Records is pleased to announce the release of To Speak Of Wolves’ second full-length album, “Find Your Worth, Come Home,” available online and in stores everywhere May 22nd. Solid State commented on the upcoming release:

“The band’s first album with dynamic new frontman Gage Speas, ‘Find Your Worth, Come Home’ sees the revitalized lineup reaching into darker, heavier and faster territory. It’s an album of rediscovery, and an album that freshly stamps what To Speak of Wolves is about, from the title on down.”

“The title is about we’ve been doing – finding ourselves as a band, proving what are and doing what we do best,” explains drummer and founding member Phil Chamberlain. “This record is something that we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve gotten a lot of compliments about how intense we are live and I don’t think that came across on the first album. This time around we went into the recording process wanting to make sure to capture that intensity, and I think we did that.”

“We couldn’t be more stoked and proud of what we’ve created with this album,” Chamberlain exclaims. “We are excited and can’t wait to share it with everyone!”

The band also has the following upcoming tour dates:

Apr 22 – Worcester MA @ Palladium (New England Metal and Hardcore Festival)

Do you enjoy the combined feeling of inadequacy and embarrassment? Now you can experience both by hitting up Tosin and Javier from Animals as Leaders for a guitar lesson on their latest tour! In all seriousness, I’m sure they’re great teachers and will take in guitar players of all levels. Also, don’t you find Tosin’s email just a little bit cute? “TosinShreds.” Yes Tosin, we know. <3

Anyway, if you really are interested, you can see them up on their tour with Underoath, Thursday, and A Skylit Drive. And no, those three bands are neither jokes nor typos.
