Frankenbok has issued the following announcement about postponing the release of new album “Cheers, Beers & Beards:”

“With the likes of One Direction and Taylor Swift flooding the new release section of your local music store, we’ve decided to postpone the release of the next BOK installment. Let’s face it, you didn’t know it was coming out anyway, so an extra couple of months won’t kill ya!

“So keep crankin ya favourite corporate driven top 40 playlists until we decide to throw you something better out there for you to get ya ears around! The album is titled: CHEERS, BEERS & BEARDS! Includes: 6 New tracks and 4 Live versions of some oldies! RELEASE 2013.”

For the first time in over a decade, the Vans Warped Tour will be coming to the UK when it takes over London’s Alexandra Palace this Saturday (November 10).


Think that Warped is only for punks and scene kids and whatnot? Think again. As always Metal Hammer has your back, so if you’ve bought a ticket our of curiosity, ended up having to take your missus along because she really loves Lostprophets, or, you know, you actually do want to see Lostprophets, seeing as they were pretty cool once, we’ve got five killer bands that will be stealing the show for ya. German wild west metal band Desperadoz (formerly Desperados) posted a new music video for the song “Bullet With My Name.” The song appears on the band’s fourth LP “Dead Man’s Hand” which was released at the end of April through AFM Records. Desperadoz is the side project of Alex Kraft, guitarist for Tom Angelripper’s (Sodom) beer soaked side project Onkel Tom Angelripper. The Sodom frontman appeared on the band’s debut LP “The Dawn of Dying.”
